Looks like a great wee faucet, but doesn't fit my sink : KOHLER K-8040-3A-CP Triton Shelf-Back Lavatory Faucet, Polished Chrome

I was looking forever for a exchange faucet for the 50's vintage pink sink we have in our bathroom. I ultimately found this faucet, which fits the sink almost perfectly. I just installed the faucet and discovered a concentrate things that need to be addressed.

1. The drain operate doesn't fit. The sink this was installed in is also Kohler so I'm a bit disappointed by this. The old faucet is a flatter originate with a quarter turn lever to operate the drain. The hole in the sink itself is round and doesn't make room for the pull rod on this set up. As a work nearby I'm going to get a spring-loaded drain and somewhere purchase a new spigot for the faucet that doesn't have the hole in it. Maybe Kohler makes a spigot with a bit more of a reach; I find my knuckles don't fit under the water flow.

2. The screws they supplied for the handles aren't long enough. Not a big deal, but kind of odd.

These two issues aside, the faucet is a huge revising over the traditional faucet it replaced. Next weekend I tackle the matching shower faucet assembly.
